Owning a Braun 8985 shaver is a great thing, let me tell you. I wouldn't start a morning without my Braun 8985. The Braun 8985 is by far one of my favorite tested shavers and it's the one I take with me most often on business trips. How I got my Braun 8985 shaver was actually pretty funny because my wife got it for me for Christmas one year and I haven't put it down since. Actually, it was the Braun 8985 that encouraged me to start this web-blog to begin with. So here's to you Braun 8985, my favorite shaver yet.

So let's talk a little bit about the Braun 8985. The Braun 8985 shaver uses the exclusive Braun Power Comb technology, as well as the Gillette Blade technology. The Braun 8985 shaver also uses a great contour hugging head that I found worked really well around the difficult spots under my jaw line. It's smart foil does a great job of getting most of my facial hair on the first pass, so I'm pretty happy with that. The Clean and Renew system is the real life saver of the Braun 8985 though. I don't know where I would be without that. Cleaning the Braun 8985 is really a breeze.

Between the active head, multi-stage cutting system and ultra thin foil, my Braun 8985 shaver is simply amazing for doing what I need, which is a quick shave in under 5 minutes. Because of the head design of the Braun 8985, most areas of my face only require one pass with good blades, and the tough areas rarely need more than two or three passes. I never really see much of the fifty minute cordless operation time that the Braun 8985 is capable of. The Braun 8985 comes equipped with Nickel-Hydride batteries that typically take to a full charge in just under an hour, but it's claimed that the Braun 8985 can get a "Quick Charge" in three minutes or less.

The Braun 8985 comes in both black and silver, but I preferred the black and thankfully that was the color that my wife got. Like other Braun products, the Braun 8985 comes complete with the Smart Plug so it's interchangeable with my everything in my Braun electric shaver collection. Needless to say, I'm very happy with the Braun 8985 and am pretty sure that you will be as well. That's why I ranked it in the top in my blog navigation bar.
